BEAST combines found footage and sound with visual imagery produced using my sculptural work.  Inspired by J.G. Ballard’s novel Crash, it explores the elision between machine and mammalian desire.  Blending mechanical and animal sounds, the video uses camera angles to derive organic forms and movements from inorganic automotive structures.  BEAST was screened at the LOOP International Video Art Fair in Barcelona Spain (May 26-30, 2009)
